About

A path of inner work.

Freemasonry is the art of shaping oneself — turning the rough stone into a living Temple of Wisdom, Strength, and Beauty. More than a fraternity: a discipline.

The Lodge

Welcome to No. 9.

In Lynn, Massachusetts, our Lodge is a living Temple where tradition meets modern light. Women and men work side by side in unity, respect, and purpose. Inspired by the spirit of the Essenes, we cultivate four principles —

Harmony
l’harmonie
Balance
l’équilibre
Truth
la vérité
Spiritual growth
l’élévation

Questions

The questions we hear most.

Is Freemasonry a religion?

No. Spiritual but not religious. We do not teach a creed and ask no one to abandon their own faith.

Can women join?

Yes. We are a mixed lodge — men and women labor side by side.

Is it secret?

Some traditions and rituals are private. Our values, purpose, and community work are open and visible.

How often do you meet?

Typically once a month for formal works, with additional gatherings throughout the year.
